Directions from Portland Airport (PDX) to the Benson hotel

• By taxi, it takes 30 - 40 minutes, depending on the traffic. The cost is around 40 USD.
• UBER is a slightly cheaper alternative. You need the UBER app on your phone.
• Downtown Express airport shuttle runs every 30 min, from 7:00 am to 12:30 am. The fare is 14 USD. From arrivals main door go to aisle 3. No reservations are necessary.
• Public transportation. The MAX red line provides light rail service from airport to the city center and other areas. It operates between 4:56 am to 12:26 am (first and last train departures from the airport, respectively). The fare is 2.50 USD ($1.25 USD for honored citizens). Tickets must be purchased at the machines nearby. Get off the train at the Pioneer Square North stop. Cross the tracks to the right and continue on Broadway. The Benson hotel is on the left-hand side (five minutes walk).
